BC.Game Twist Explained: Gems, Sections and the In-Game Bank

Twist is a multi-turn BC Original that plays differently from instant games like Dice or Limbo. Instead of one bet and one result, you spin repeatedly at a fixed stake. Winning gem symbols gradually fill coloured sections on a wheel and build up an in-game bank. Completing sections triggers instant payouts or a bonus game, and you decide when to cash out. This guide explains the symbols, the sections and the cash-out options.

Rules summary: the details below are based on Twist’s published rules at the time of writing. Always check the game’s own help or info panel, as rules and values can change.

How a game of Twist works

  1. Choose your bet and press Play to spin. The bet stays fixed until that game ends.
  2. Each spin lands a symbol. What happens depends on the symbol (see below).
  3. Gem symbols fill sections of the wheel and add their payouts to your in-game bank.
  4. Complete a colour to trigger its reward.
  5. Cash out all or part of your bank at any time, or keep spinning.

The symbols

  • Gem symbols: winning symbols. They fill sections of the wheel, and their payouts go into your in-game bank.
  • Dark gem: a non-winning symbol. It costs you that spin’s bet, but your filled sections stay as they are.
  • Stone: moves you back one step in each section, undoing some progress.

The coloured sections

Colour What happens when you fill it
Green Instant payout of ×7.5, then you move back to the penultimate green section
Orange Instant payout of ×21, then you move back to the penultimate orange section
Purple Triggers the bonus game. Purple sections reset to zero afterwards.

The bonus game

When purple is completed, a bonus multiplier is drawn from ×100, ×200, ×300, ×400 or ×500, each with equal odds. You receive that payout, and the value accumulated in the purple sections (×205 in the published rules) is deducted from your in-game bank.

Cashing out

  • Cash Out All: collects your whole in-game bank, resets all sections to zero and starts a fresh game.
  • Cash Out Part: credits only the difference between the last and penultimate step of each filled circle to your balance, keeping most of your progress in place.

Partial cash-outs let you bank some winnings while keeping your progress. The trade-off is that stones can still push your remaining progress backwards.

House edge

Twist’s published rules state a house edge of 1%. Like any casino game, the expected return is slightly below what you wager over time. A long run of spins carries the edge on every spin.

Tips for playing Twist sensibly

  • Decide in advance how many spins you’ll play and how much you’re willing to lose.
  • Remember that every spin costs your stake, even when you’re “close” to completing a colour. Near-misses are part of the design.
  • Use partial cash-outs if you want to lock in some value.
  • Don’t chase the bonus game. Purple completion is rare by design.
  • Take breaks. See responsible gambling.

Is Twist fair?

As a BC Original, Twist uses BC.Game’s provably fair system. Check the game’s fairness panel to see how its results can be verified.
