BC.Game Dice Explained: Rules, Odds and Payouts

Dice is one of the simplest BC Originals and a good introduction to how crypto casino games work. Each round generates a random number from 0.00 to 99.99. You choose a target and whether the roll must land over or under it. Because you set the target, you control your win chance, and the payout adjusts automatically.

How to play BC.Game Dice

  1. Enter your bet amount.
  2. Drag the slider or type a value to set the target number.
  3. Choose “Roll Over” or “Roll Under”.
  4. Check the win chance and payout shown under the slider.
  5. Click “Bet”. If the roll lands on your side of the target, you win your bet × payout.

Win chance and payout

The lower your chance of winning, the higher the payout. The payout is calculated approximately as:

Payout = 99 ÷ win chance (%)

Win chance Approximate payout
90% 1.1x
75% 1.32x
49.5% 2x
25% 3.96x
10% 9.9x
1% 99x

The “99” reflects a house edge of about 1% (RTP around 99%). Check the game’s info panel for the exact figures and slider limits.

What the house edge means

A 1% edge applies to every bet. Over many bets, your expected loss is about 1% of the total amount wagered, not of your balance. For example, 2,000 bets of $1 means $2,000 wagered and an expected loss of about $20. Short-term results swing a lot, but over time the maths favours the house. If Dice is eligible for Zero Edge on your account, house edge on eligible wagers may be returned as Tacoback, within the program’s caps.

Auto-bet and advanced settings

Dice’s auto mode lets you set:

  • Number of bets
  • Bet changes on win or loss
  • Stop on profit and stop on loss

Auto-bet makes betting extremely fast, so losses can build quickly. Always set a stop-on-loss you can afford, and avoid settings that keep increasing your bet after losses.

Do Dice strategies work?

Systems such as Martingale (doubling after each loss), D’Alembert or Labouchère change the pattern of results, often many small wins and occasional large losses, but none overcome the house edge. Each roll is independent, and previous rolls never affect the next one.

Is BC.Game Dice fair?

Dice is provably fair. Every roll is generated from a server seed, your client seed and a nonce, and you can verify past rolls after revealing the server seed.

Play responsibly

Instant rounds make it easy to lose track of time and money. Decide on a budget first, use stop-loss settings and take regular breaks. See our responsible gambling guide.

Common Dice mistakes

  • Using “increase on loss” without a cap, which can wipe out a balance during a normal losing streak.
  • Focusing on win rate. A 90% win chance still carries the same edge, and one loss cancels around nine wins.
  • Playing for “just one more” roll after hitting your stop-loss.

Frequently asked questions

Is Roll Over better than Roll Under?

No. At the same win chance, both have identical odds and payouts.

Can I predict the next roll?

No. The server seed is hidden (hashed) until you rotate it, so results can’t be predicted.

What’s the highest payout?

It depends on the lowest win chance the slider allows, subject to maximum payout limits.
